Default Portrait of a performer

This young man was part of a man and woman duo in a highly stylized burlesque. He was looking in the mirror in the dressing room before the show and I took a picture of his reflected image. Canon 20D 24 mm 1.4 lens. ISO 800.

Crop may be better as a portrait, but great capture in the original as a story...very different approach as original and I find it very mesmerizing!

Wow. Two great pictures from one shot. Each is striking in its own right.

Exceptional work as long as the print looks as good as this one and I'm sure that it does. Keep up the good work. Excellent job.

I like them both..... as Peachman said, they both depict a different story. It's cool when you can do that with one photograph.

The colour, lighting, atmosphere and the man's expression/tension caught are all so very good. Good indeed !

excellent work. I must say I am impressed by the 24mm 1.4. been eyeing this lens heavily. Just wonder if it will serve me well on the 5D.

Again, excellent crop and exposure.
