Default Busy Summers Day.

here are some shots i just took out in my backyard, i didn't feel i was upto the Macro section standards considering these were all taken with my 300D and 18-55mm Kit Lens.
It was windy, so some were on sports mode to take advantage of the AI AF thingo

let me know what you think

tomorrow, my aim is to get a photo of a hover-bee (the first one) actually hovering.
:S it'll be tuff, but i'm a skilled professional photographer with a million dollars worth of lens' and stuff. hah!

Nice shots Matty, I like the first photo of the hoverfly and the garden shot with the cat. The bee capture seems overwhelmed by the purple color surrounding it.

Matt, that's a cool shot of the cat's camoflage! Even the green eyes blend in well with the grass.
