katydid and grasshopper

My garden continues to attract some interesting critters. I remember katy lies from Steely dan. I like not only the strait-forward caputures but some of the ones where the light is uneven as well. I was taking photos of Katy when the hopper landed on the leaf of the Gladiola just below! I just missed the focus on the eye of # 2 darn

Nice shots.

I was thinking the same thing for #2. If the eyes were in focus that would've been a terrific capture. Still, they're all pretty good.

Good shot of Katy's ears out there on the front elbows in #2. That is how it hears.
