Here's an eastern Massasauga, a threatened species here in Ontario.



I tried to combat the bright sun and harsh shadows with a bit of fill flash.

there are few things I am afraid of more than snakes...but man this thread is cool. I like my current viewing distance through the computer screen so keep the images coming!

Some great in situ shots there schilling! The top snake is a black rat snake, similar to a racer but not the same

My dog scared this Racer up into a tree. Nearly three feet long and beautifully colored.
