My friend Diane smokes as well and both of them should give up the habit which is neither cool or attractive

Gotta say I agree with snapman, the focus of an otherwise well done photo is just too "smoky"..Good if it's for a cigarette add...does nothing to enhance the photo IMO...But..maybe it's ourconditioning here in the very opinionated USA.........

#4 with the smoke is alright if your trying to capture smoke?
the other shots would be more interesting as portrates without cig's.
less interesting as candids with cig's?

I agree smoking sucks.
But, on a positive note, the colour, contrast, and lighting of these pictures is phenomenal!

You did make smoking look as cool as it possibly can be.
But the photography, again, is EXTREMELY good!

The last one is most interesting to me. The curling smoke provides a little 'action' interest to the picture. I wont discuss the evils of smoking, but I can't help being struck by the irony of such an attractive person engaging in such unattractive behavior.

I don't believe Peachman took these.

I agree, smoking's an ugly habit, but I like what you've captured here. It's a very neat series.

These are great shots. I can feel the hot smoke filling my lungs. Quit nine years ago after burning em for 30+ years.
