Default Nascar Talladega Ford 500 (56k Warning)

Well I finally got around to post-processing my photos. Thanks to all on the lens advice! Here are a couple of the better shots.

1.

2.

3.

I think a polarizer would have helped this one out.

4.

Probably my favorite.

5.

6.

7.

They were shooting a Will Farell movie at the track during the race. This was right before driver introduction. I should be visible in the movie but my POTN strap was around my neck so I doubt it will make it.

The rest can be seen here. Pictures

There is also a great wreck sequence from the ARCA race on Saturday.

All in all they came out pretty good. The prints were wonderful and convinced me to keep the 100-400L. I have a 10x15 of the tire guy on the pit wall that is spectacular.

Awesome pics. A lot of times, I don't peruse someone's gallery when they say that the rest of the pictures are there. One often assumes that the ones posted in the forum will be the cream of the crop. Not to say these aren't, though.

That crash sequence is pretty cool. Nice capture. The others are nice, clean, crisp photos. Good thing it's fall here in AL, or it'd have been so hazy that you would've been fighting low contrast. Great job!

These along with the rest of your gallery are simply amazing in my honest opinion.

Thanks. My cousin works for Interstate battery and he was able to get us the Hot Pit and Garage passes. I am hopeing to present these to the local paper and try to start shooting for them when I have free time. I would like to try next year to have a media pass and provide the pictures to the paper.

It definitely was a blast. I am now trying to get a spot for April. Wish me luck.
