Default A Living Legend...George Jones

Hello Everyone,

Last Night I attended a George Jones Concert, in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada. I did get a chance to take a few photos and I think this is my best one.

Hope you like it.

"living" legend ... he looks like a wax figure j/k btw, it's a nice shot, I wouldn't mind seeing a tighter crop off the top though.

Thanks subtle_spectre, Pea Picker and CDBlue for your comments. I wished that I would have had better equipment and time as he is one of my favorite music legends. I am including a color version. Comments are always welcomed.

Great shot -- B&W is best!

Ya, nice shot of "The Possum"...Man that guy has been on the scene for a long long time...Must have been a great time up there...I like the black and white...your two shots are a good example of the distraction caused by color in some photos and why sometime we favor black and white..

Thank you kenyc and PEACHMAN for your comments. I was not happy with the way the colors turned out but I was happy that I was able to sneak my Digital Rebel with a 300mm lenses into the concert. My goal was to get the best photo I could of one of my favorite singers.

Again, thanks for your comments.

In this case, the B+W looks far far better IMHO. Nice shot.

The photo itself is pretty neat, but it looks like the colors are really washed out and kind of scratchy. There is some sort of glare that is casting itself along the entire image.

None the less, the B&W version of the photo is very neat. I like that version best.
