Thanks! Go! It's only one weekend out of the year. :) Or just pick one of the 3 days. Hehehe...

#2 is a very unique capture, my favorite of the series which are all sharp and very well done!

This is a very nice series, especially #s 1 & 3.

Really? #1, with the sweet blown highlights, hard backlighting, and what looks to be heat distortion? Sure the formation is nice, with decent framing and interest, but a technical failure. I've done enough airshows not to even try for these backlit shots, they're all trash when i get home anyways.

IMO, all but #1 are great with #2 and #5 are the real winners of the bunch. The lighting at Miramar was pretty terrible, just like almost every year, but a lot of these shots are real winners.

Thanks ChunkyDA. Even though I was looking for the sneak pass... it still somehow snuck up on me :o. Maybe next year, I'll be better prepared. :D

Thanks rammsteinmatt. :) It's a shame that the runway crowd has to face south at Miramar. If only it was flipped 180, there would be so much better lighting for the entire day of shooting. :D

Perfectly consistent exposure on the jets. Never easy with the BAs.

Well Done!

Great shots!!! I have to smile at #2 though which I'm assuming is the sneak pass of #6 after #5s high speed pass. I got a very similar shot from April 2010, as you can see here. I'll remove the shot if this is considered a no-no.
