Not entirely complete, but also not very far off completion, was hoping for some advice or feedback (ie is it heading in the right direction) general thoughts to improve it, opinions etc...

I like it a lot. The gray on black was tough for me to read though. Maybe try a bit lighter shade of gray. I like how simple it is. It lets your work stand out.

I might try a slightly different lighter grey font colour for the text and see what that does to the overall feel and look of the site.
