PCB sells the charger for $30. Which to me seems a bit steep for a charger.
They call it a

Battery Charging 3-hour rapid charging with supplied universal charger (95VAC to 250VAC)

sounds like a generic universal charger to me, any know where I could pick one up not from PCB?

Somebody, give us a clear picture of all of the information on the label.

Regulated, Unregulated, DC, AC, Output Voltage, Amperage....?

No bragging list - I just rent whatever the job requires.

$30 bucks for a charger known to be compatible with the product is hardly steep. I can't find a 16.8v charger close to that price. What's the best you could hope for, 20 after shipping? Then you gotta cut and solder their end on......hardly worth saving 10 bucks.

While any Li-Ion charger will indeed work, you do need a "smart" charger that is meant specifically for Li-Ion chemistry, and once you add the cost of the terminals which are easily available you will be pretty close to the $30 for a setup that is already set to go.

I own a $150 charger for lithium RC batteries, and it needs an external power supply. Lithium batteries require a "smarter" charger than other batteries, that is why the price tends to run a little higher. You may want to google "exploding lithium battery" before you run out and buy any old charger. I'm not saying other chargers can't charge the battery, only that you need to be sure it is compatible first.

No, I'm not a professional photographer, but I did sleep at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

Yea I would be surprised actually if you could find that charger and those black and red connectors (forgot what they are called but they are common) for under $30 shipped from somewhere like DigiKet or Mouser, etc. Just get the AlienBees one. Its cheap and you know it works.
