I just felt there was not any interest. So I have moved on. If people want to get involved I would love to host meet ups. But it is a total waste of time of only 2 people are going to show up. Well not a waste but, hell you know what I mean.. AKf

From what I've read, it seems as it really didnt take off all that well. Maybe I just stumbled upon this to late.
There are a few Nevada/Las Vegas groups on Facebook that seem to have quite a following. I believe there is a group getting together this weekend for Christmas Tree Pass/Grapevine Canyon gathering.

This may be a bit late, but damn, the 1DX is sweet! I'm ready to pull the trigger for a 5D2, but the 1DX with its full frame 12fps (14fps w/mirror lock) is something to be drooling for. Hmmmmm.... But then again, I have 2 bodies already, I won't need a third, unless someone here wants to buy my 60D. Haha!

I have a deposit on a 1DX already, DID you see my video I made from CES. 2nd video is long but that camera is what I have been waiting for ever since I came to Canon

Nope but I so in awe as my kids were running around crazy at a play area. Family time was on, Photog mode off! I love my family time, I love neat pink, orange and blue sunsets too. I wish I could do both.

Whats up everyone... Havent seen alot of you guys in a while. The last major meet up was hosted by Henry, Bry and I and it was at the Nelson Ghost town complete with models, MUA and Hairstylists and lighting work shops... Once the weather warms up again and I can get a break from our work maybe we will create another meetup thread organizing a new one. I only like to schedule them on weekends as most of us and the models are available then. Post up your guy's schedules and lets see what we can all make happen. Im also waiting on new gear to come out, how ever it wont be a 1dx. I have a gut feeling that I will be going with 2 or 3 of the upcoming Nikon d800's.
