Default Cirque Sublime (56K warning!!)

Greetings from London Ontario Canada! Went to a show this past week featuring a group called Cirque Sublime. Don't know if they are associated with the famous Cirque De Soleil group but they were very entertaining none-the-less! Took along my 1D and the 135L attached and was expecting to have my entry prohibited but since we got to sit in one of the private boxes, my camera was allowed in!! Unfortunately when I tried to go down to ground level, I was told that that type of camera was not allowed!! So, here are a few that turned out in the carnival lighting.........not the sharpest shots I have ever taken and I had to boost the ISO to 1250 which is never so great with the 1D!! Again, the 20D would have been better or even a lowly 1D MkII!! If you have a chance to see this show, take it......it is really really good!! Thanks for looking and comments and critiques are always welcome!

Those are beautiful, especially in what appears to be near total darkness. You must have been focusing by braille

I love the one of the guy hanging upside down and he is lit up all red. My only comment (and not that you should take my comments seriously) would be to get rid of the audience. I think it would be great if it was just the one guy hanging there with nothing else in the image.

I was thinking of lowering the red channel (that would eliminate the audience!) but it the shot has more of the sense of height with the audience in the background looking up!! Thanks for the comment!

Thanks Lisa! The 135L is highly recommended by me and is/must be one of the best deals by Canon as far as price/quality!

Very nice shots of what seems to be awesome show and obviously very strong and talented performers. Glad that you got in with your cam to share these with us.

wonderful shots..timing is terriffic...but I am really baffeled...How do you get a 189mm focal length with a 135 mm lens? I don't mean to be rude if this is a miss print (but I assume it's my lack of knowledge, not a miss print)
