My first post in the wildlife section (I'm a regular in the birds section though).
I couldn't find any birds yesterday so I shot a few deer. Sigma 120-300 2.8 OS with a 2x TC. ![]() Buck Sigma 12-300 OS 377mm by gabebalazs, on Flickr ![]() Sidecut Deer Sigma 120-300 OS 429mm by gabebalazs, on Flickr ![]() Deer Running by gabebalazs, on Flickr ![]() Buck at Sidecut Sigma 120-300 OS 600mm by gabebalazs, on Flickr ![]() Deer Grazing at Sidecut Sigma 120-300 600mm by gabebalazs, on Flickr

Very nice. How do you like the 120-300 2.8 sigma?

Thanks!
I really like it! Without any TC is super sharp and fast, with TCs it's better than I expected. I think it's a great gap filler lens considering that the Canon 300 2.8 IS is pretty expensive (the Mk II is VERY expensive). Plus there is no other 300mm 2.8 zoom out there. Maybe it's "only" 98% of the quality of the Canon 300m prime but the zoom is very useful sometimes.

Actually I was about 30-40m away from them, except the for the second picture, that was about 5m away. In fact, the running deer was about 80m away. These deer are very tame, they live in this park and nobody bothers them.
