Hey guys,
Well ive been taking pictures of everything and i think ive now basically decided i hate posed photography(like looking at it , but its not for me. Much respect to all of you who do it properly) I quite like photojournalistic type photograph and i am absolutely in love with architecture and landscape photography. Need some tips on composition and exposure for landscape photography(especially on ones with a single focal point, not loving the wide angle deep depth of fields(especially since i dont have a real wide angle lens Also what lens would be a good buy for this type of photography(i recently posted one asking for a general lens but ive been told to narrow down my scope so basically ive just gone out the last couple of days and taken shots of everything). Thanks |

So, it's hard to comment, -- post a pic that you like?

Looking at landscape posts on this forum or studying landscape photos in library books are your best bets. Lots of info available at both places. Just find a style you like, post up some links, and we can make lens suggestions. Good luck.

You're leaving this wide open as there are many types of architecture and landscape that require a different approach. It's probably easier if you see an image you like and study how it was composed and exposed. You're more than welcome to check out the fine art images gallery on my website which include all sorts of different landscape photography to get some ideas. Your lens choice will depend on what you are shooting |
