Haha, good one. Yes, the last one.

Firstly, I don't personally see any sharpness issues as-is. Besides the horse portrIt, they are all sort of snapshottish anyways. The tracktor I didn't even see infill you mentioned it. I think the story being told here wouldn't sway to far from your vision if it was cropped somewhere between just the right of the fence post and to the left of the purple tree. Turn it into a high contrast black and white to subdue the flat lighting and I think it would look good. UWA are sometimes tough isolating subject in this sort of scene.

I kinda like the way it turned out lol.

I have about 60 more, to edit. It was a special day, and this is one of the memories. Not gonna crop the Hell out of it.

Hey Str0, do you use Lightroom? I recently started using the preset lens corrections automatically on my Sigma 10-20 shots and it does a nice job of reducing barrel distortion from the UWA lenses.

I was looking at the Metz 50 AF-1 this morning as my 2nd unit... its most similar to and direct competition to the 430EX II - here is a comparison:

Mine was a month old, powers up but there's no "charging whine" (which was faint, but audible when powering it on previously) and the pilot light goes red (ready) immediately and won't fire. ThePhotoGadget were very quick (even on a Sunday) to give me details of how to return it, but it means being without it for several week I imagine. I was tempted to fix it myself, but I'll give the warranty a go and see if the next one is any better - they can't all be as unreliable or I'm sure ThePhotoGadget would have stopped selling them by now, seeing as they foot the bill for posting it back to me.

Just lucky really that my cheapo optical slave hotshoe trigger things arrived on Saturday and I could use my Dad's old flash, which I think it older than I am. Not ideal. but it did the job
