Anyone else any thoughts? If we're posting a shot each week would it be hard to vote on the stream as we go along each week?
I'm up for it. Always fun to play for that little bit of kudos, and if it doesnt prove popular we can always drop that part.

The only issue I can see is if people take their shot but are unable to post it into the group in time (holidays/lack of time/etc). Maybe they can still post the image into the group but not worry about the voting for those?

Do we really need to have a vote at all?

For me this is a means of giving me motivation and ideas to go out and take photos. The voting makes it more of a competition and adds extra pressure on getting 'the right' shot and could end up taking the fun out of it.

Not really bothered either way but think I would prefer it without.

The ISO recognises Monday as the first day of the week.

Regardless, i will take a shot today and claim it was taken last week. I cant be arsed to change my cameras date/time.

I'm with Steve on this one, do we need a "winner" every week, im just happy to have the motivation to take the shots and get the old gray matter working on the interpretation.

Ok so if it's not a popular idea then we can drop it. I had only thought to try and improve by adding a slightly competitive element ... But if people would prefer to drop that side then that's ok.

Rob - as we're dropping the competitive element then I don't think there is quite so much pressure to post by midnight on Saturday so glad to see you posted!!

Think my only hope is dawn ... or thereabouts ... work is so busy that I suddenly realise it's dark outside and I have missed dusk!! Maybe Saturday will be my saving grace!

Yeah - know the feeling - I'm usually on the train heading to London before the sun shows it's face!! Am hoping for a nice "sunrise on the Shard" shot ... Or something similar ... Otherwise like you it'll be Saturday!!

That would be good but needs to be linked to the subject
