Has anyone heard any rumors from Canon about a new flagship speedlight? I'm just asking because I'm so tired of my Pocket Wizard TT5 units not working 100% of the time (more like 60%).

No news yet, but I doubt there will be a 580EX III. I expect the power would be increased from GN58 and it would be called something like a 600EX.

I once read that Canon has filed patents for radio transmission, but who knows what they're actually for and when they'll show up. I'd like to see that, but am also happy with my current set of triggers.

Maybe change the triggers....:D I heard about a new body (EOS C), but no new flash in the works.

Definitely change the triggers. Best value for the money would be the Cactus V5. I have 3 of them for my 580EXII's I use for weddings and the range is INCREDIBLE and they NEVER fail on me.

I wouldn't rule it out considering this month's Popular Photography magazine mentioned Nikon's new SB-910.

I would love to see Canon switch to radio for their wireless protocol.
