Indeed - he has been texting me the hate bait all day as well.

Evening all. Another couple from my walk Monday. An unknown bug, which I think might be a hover fly. Also a strange cocoon on a leaf.

First bug is a hoverfly - Helophilus pendulus Second bug looks like a Bagworm moth, rather than a cocoon, they cover themselves in debris and move around like that lol. I found one in my garden a couple of years ago and saw it moving. Every now and then I could see its head sticking out of one end - they are like a caterpillar inside the little home they have built around themselves lol. I believe there is another name for them but cant think of it at he moment.

Thanks guys. The camo on that bug was cool.
Out of interest, when you use tubes to get a macro effect, what lens is best to use with them. Bear in mind what lenses I have,. (in my sig)
