let me just get this in now!

I HATE MARK BRIDGER!

;)

Indeed - he has been texting me the hate bait all day as well.

To think that i lent him my MkIV in good faith and all he has done is make me feel terrible. Shame on you Mr. Bridger!

Evening all. Another couple from my walk Monday. An unknown bug, which I think might be a hover fly. Also a strange cocoon on a leaf.

Really looking forward to Jubilee Weekend, have taken the time off work and everything.

Also hugely looking forward to picking up my press pass to shoot The Earl and Countess of Wessex this week :)

Well done on the pass and looking forward to the pics

Very pretty shots.

First bug is a hoverfly - Helophilus pendulus
Second bug looks like a Bagworm moth, rather than a cocoon, they cover themselves in debris and move around like that lol. I found one in my garden a couple of years ago and saw it moving. Every now and then I could see its head sticking out of one end - they are like a caterpillar inside the little home they have built around themselves lol. I believe there is another name for them but cant think of it at he moment.

Thanks guys. The camo on that bug was cool.

Out of interest, when you use tubes to get a macro effect, what lens is best to use with them. Bear in mind what lenses I have,. (in my sig)
