Went to that island today. was quite the adventure. First of all, no dock or beach, had to anchor my boat and row in to the rocks with waves crashing on them. Crazy. Second, the island is a home to so many birds and seagulls and i guess it's mating season. All of them were guarding nests with eggs in them. The birds were diving at us, and intentionally pooping on us trying to get to leave. Here is a link to the whole set. http://www.flickr.com/photos/scottei...7629700325442/

I shot a prom. Ok, not a real prom.. 80s prom party (was a friend of a friend's birthday party), just messing around for the most part.

Yeah reddit has plenty of idiots, there are always a few when I post photos. I still love the site though

It would have been smart of him to take a look at yours also before he said anything.

A friend of mine gave me a Tamron 19-35 so I played around with it Saturday night. I'm pretty happy with the results

And yesterday I went back out to Winthrop with a friend but the sun ended up sucking. It was bright and great for a few minutes then went behind a large cloud and it was dark for the rest of the night. I edited one of my photos enough that I now call it an instagram photo haha

A drunk guy came up to my friend and I out at deer island and kept talking for maybe 20 minutes. Then he told us we had to go back to his apartment in East Boston and check out the view... I didn't want a heroin needle to the eye so we didn't take him up on it

Does anyone know if there is a filter or something I can use to get rid of the star effect of light on long exposures?
