So I got tired of AF focusing on everything but birds and as a last resort I read the manual. I think I did what it said to do to enable center focus but the camera still focuses on trees, limbs and everything but the bird in the center. Did I do it wrong or does center focus just not work?

Im not at home so I can't look but in the top right corner there is 2 small buttons. One of them will change ur autofocus between all points and just center point. After you click it to just center only the middle point will light up.
