Jeez, if you want a better performing body just go with Nikon so you can shoot at a consistent 128000 ISO. Otherwise who cares? For the most part, if you're shooting above ISO3200 all the time you're doing something terribly wrong.

Nah, far from it, I would totally use Nikon, but I'm more farmiliar with Canon and I like Canon's lenses better. I've never said Nikons actually bad

I keep wondering if one day I want to buy a Sigma for the Foveon sensor...

Honestly if Nikon had something even remotely close to the 7D I'd probably still be shooting Nikon. I loved my D40, it was a solid first SLR and it treated me well over the years.

Oh Julian, so today I went running.

First 10k distance, I did have to walk from about mile 1.5-2 as I started cramping up a bit (need to drink more water), but anyways, I ran a few miles really focusing on forefoot striking, once I got in a rythm it wasn't too bad. It sort of sucks in these shoes, but still could have been worse. I went back to my normal stride after about 2 miles of that though as my calves started seizing up a bit, they're not used to that much stress.

Not sure... Does Sony make medium format or mirrorless size sensors outside their NEX line?
