Yup i saw that but is there a comparable deal of a higher laptop dropped down to 1k?

That. The 540M is plenty capable. I've got much weaker card (335M) in my m11x, and it can handle the tough games (assassins creed brotherhood, Dragon age 2, Mass effect 2) on medium settings.

Ask Steven, Baan, Nick, and Harm. I suggested the Lee brand and they're all happy campers.

Deals like those don't pop up all that often, especially ones with decent video cards in them. Usually you see good deals on office-oriented laptops in that range. This one is geared more toward the gamer, and that's rare. Don't expect anything more to your liking unless you're prepared to wait 1-2 months.

You can also pick out a specific laptop model, and check ebay auctions--eventually you may score a really good deal, but no warranty for you!

The i7 quad, 1080p screen, and graphics card are major draws. Major deal pricing--and that's only because the replacement models were just recently announced (but not yet out).

Video games were invented when you were 10?

Completely didn't even realize we recommended the same computer... lol

My brother's M14x has a 540M and I have seen him run Skyrim on good settings high/medium!

Hmm... seems pretty good. AF is accurate? How is AI servo performance?
