So NASA says. Also check the Intrepid Sea-Air Museum web page. The NASA home page and the Intrepid Museum page should both have the latest info. But check weather for both New York and Washington (IAD and JFK on The Weather Channel will cover the airports). Keep watching Intrepid Air-Sea for when (June sometime) they'll barge Enterprise over from JFK. They're going to put up a temporary climate-controlled shelter on Intrepid until they've built the permanent shelter (on the dock?) for Enterprise. So there'll be a couple of chances for you to see Enterprise in (almost, modulo a crane or two) her natural element.

Perhaps, but now I'll get to see it!!

No way they will fly tomorrow, probably Tuesday or Wednesday depending but I'll keep an eye out!! I have a friend who works at the ferry station in Weekawken, NJ which is almost directly across the Hudson from the Intrepid.

Air, not on the ground . . . as they crane her up. Technically, Enterprise has never been in her natural element as she's never been above 30K meters. But still . . .

Like Jay said....politics and money. It would have been nice to have enough orbiters to place one at each place they really belong. Certainly at least one at Edwards, one at KSC, one to the Smithsonian, one at Johnson and one at Huntsville.
