Ian Congrats on the new build...

i3 should be good enough for editing but I would suggest you add a few GB to your RAM, RAM now is very very cheap 8GB is only P2,500 I think... you will greatly benefit from using a 64-bit OS to be able to maximize RAM, PS can use as much as ram as you can put on your PC AFAIK

Also, if you find your PC still a bit slow, a good 120GB SSD for main drive would give you a huge boost in performance

Sadly, I just recently sold my editing PC (i7-2600K, 120GB SSD, 8GB, GTX-580) to liquidate some stuff for my Japan plan

Hummingbird shots...this bird is been so elusive, I was about to call it a day from the local park and on my way to the parking saw this hummingbird.

I am currently usinh an i3 laptop with 6GB ram.. It was slow before but I replaced the HDD with an SSD and what a big difference

Btw I hope your baby is ok
