Why do people complain about the 5D3 dynamic range? I mean seriously... This shot is completely unedited, no shadow recovery or anything. Pretty wide dynamic range for this shot and yet you can still see quite clearly right into the building. Pretty impressive, to me...

Its only a good shot if you push the highlights to middle grey, and all the shadow to middle gray

A couple mixed shots from the weekend. Local architecture with the 25-105 and some little league action with the 70-200 2.8 IS II. I am very pleased with the way this camera handles action shots. I did miss the 8fps from my 7D a bit, but I didn't miss too many shots with 6fps.

Lovely photos in this thread! Love the baseball photos above! Especially the one where the ball has just landed in the catchers mitt with the puff of dust. Great capture.

Had another play with this great camera tonight. Had just been and bought a new reflector I wanted to try so the girlfriend kindly obliged.

Here are a few more from that day... Putting the camera through its AF paces when I do most of my shooting. Next weekend we leave for the Orlando parks for a week, so plenty more there... Although I plan to do more video this time, since I have endless amounts of pictures already from those parks... Video will be something new to do at those parks!

Mind you, at this point this ride is traveling at around 65mph. Servo nailed every shot.
