Default State championship game

The first photo is of Aledo's running back diving for a first down. The second photo is the last play of the game. Aledo was driving down the field and ran out of time. This was the last play and was blocked by the Dakota defender.

Tom,
Yes it was the mark IIN. It is sweet. A 200mm 1.8 on a monopod and a 20d with 70-200mm 2.8IS around my neck.

Good stuff! I really do like close cropped sports shots and they're perfectly framed IMO.

Jerry,
Thanks. Like your web site. It must be nice not freezing during a game. It was 31deg. F and windy during the game I shot.

Bruce - My website's basic and simple but a reasonable reflection of my personality I hope. I'm afraid my old bones couldn't stand shooting in 31 degree weather -- baseball season's perfect for me. All I need is a T shirt, shorts, sandals and a floppy hat and I'm good to go.

Hey Bruce, really nice captures. My only recommendation would be to up the contrast a tad in the first shot to make it pop a little more - it is a touch neutral as is (IMHO). But crop, timing, sharpness.... everything else is spot on.
