Default 70-200 Coffee Cup

Does anybody know where I can find one of those 70-200 f/4 coffee mugs? I've been looking for one forever with no luck!

thanks!

I believe one of the mods has the patent for that so you have to pay dearly for it

I think if you need IS, you shouldn't be drinking coffee anyway

I'm serious though, I really want one of these. I saw one in a ski lodge in Michigan last year and thought it was a real 70-200 from a distance, and I couldn't believe someone would just leave it sitting on the bar unattended in a crowded lodge.

I actually have the 3-dimensional prototype. Belmondo had the idea (cheers, please) and I went to Starbucks and made it happen with a Sharpie. Without a hosting site, I sent a picture to Belmondo who was gracious enough to post it.

The mug is a Starbucks design, but it seems like they change colors monthly. I got mine for a closeout price last winter, and I could not find a trace of them online, only in the store. Best advice I can give is make frequent stops in Starbucks.

I love mine, and would not want to part with it, but if the bidding got high enough. . .

Have Fun,

Yes, I remember that old thread now. Thats not the mug I saw last winter though in the Michigan ski lodge. It looked EXACTLY like a 70-200 f/4. If you didn't look inside, and the handle wasn't facing you, it would fool any of us into thinking it was a piece of L glass. I tried to find the owner, but at the time getting back onto the slopes was more important than waiting around for someone to come drink out of it!

Misplaced priorities. It's clear we still have work to do in your case.

My wife would probably disagree... no doubt she views all my camera gear as THE priority
