First shot with Orbis Flash Ring (canon 7d)
hi everyone, i recently got me an Orbis flash ring and this is my first shot with it...more to come.

Not a fan of the first one, I personally can't stand it when you completely change a feature of the model's face i.e. the freckles. Make them slightly less obvious, ok, but removing them completely, no.
Can't see first shot in 2nd post. Baby shot is fine, but nothing really special. Main problem I have with them is they just look like snapshots. |

Interesting but I think you need to use a longer focal length lens. The distortion from being so close loses the effect of the ringflash IMO.

These pictures remind me of the 1950's Sci-Fri thriller... "Attack of the Donut Eyed People"... That was a great movie!
