^^ To post more than two images, instead of attaching them directly as a file from your computer, you have to host them somewhere (flickr, photobucket, etc.) and then post the url for the image with IMG tags (the little logo that looks like two mountains will accomplish this).

That last picture is lovely, btw :)

Thanks for taking the time to explain how posting images works! :)

Are you all shooting these ring shots with natural light and a macro lens?

I shoot mine with either a 50mm 1.4 or my 24-105mm. Bouncing the flash mostly in different directions mostly up to the ceiling. I tried a small LED panel but the shadows were all bad and the color of the light made editing difficult.

Here I thought the little statue was a cute idea for the rings.

This might be one of the coolest ring shots I've seen. The composition forces you to keep looking at the photo to discover more! :D

Thanks. It was a 10 second setup (if that). Something I just decided to do on the fly (on camera flash). I've got an idea to do one even better than that but would need a little more time to set it up.

I did some shots a while back for poops and giggles, was bored looking for stuff to shoot and came up with these. More conceptual in theory, kinda wanted to go with typical phrases you hear when marriage is brought up. Stuff like "She's got you on the hook now"...or "The old ball and chain"...

They're a little rough, never went back and re-shot the ideas. Feel free to steal the ideas and make better shots than I did...

Pretty sure I was inside moments before, didn't lower my ISO(which I should have) but at 800, there is no noise.

Simple. He rolled the ring towards the engagement ring. When the ring rolled EXACTLY past, and he could see through, he fired off his shot.

Makes the shot way cooler like that, eh? ;)
