Yes because there is not an issue. It's a great camera that captures excellent exposures and it's super sharp.

Of course light can get through the viewfinder, you wouldn't be able to see through it otherwise. Just think of all that light that comes through your lens and into your eye when you are taking pictures. Now consider that light travels in both directions through the camera and over the metering system. The amount of light entering the VF naturally increases as you move away from the camera, this is an issue with all SLRs ever made and is why they supply a cover to put over the VF to block the light when you are not looking through it. It affects FF bodies more than crop bodies because they have bigger, brighter viewfinders. Nothing new here, it is mentioned in the manual to every SLR Canon make. |
