Thanks Brian for the feedback.
Yes your right, some of the backgrounds are a bit busy and a little distracting.
I will have to consider that the next time I take my camera out :D

Im pretty happy with this series though, considering im still very much a beginner and still learning the ins and outs of my camera and the new lens...
Cant wait to go out insect hunting again mate.

This is a fabulous set of pics.

I never worry too much about busy backgrounds because that happens when shooting them in their natural environment and has to be expected sometimes.
