Default CameraWindow DC 8.8 for Windows (??)

While downloading the new DPP I noticed at the Canadian website something called "CameraWindow DC 8.8 for Windows". Anyone know the purpose of that software? No clear from the site and it doesn't seem to have come with my 60D disks.

And you'll notice from the release date and supported cameras & OS's it quite a few years old.

Perfect_10, the version on the Canadian website is CameraWindow DC 8.8 for Windows and is dated 4/17/2012. Can't get much newer than that!

What WaltA links to is version 5.3.

Yep you're right, I had followed the link from WaltA .. that is an older one.
I also found the newer one available from the Aussie and US sites .. plus I also found it under the drivers & software for the G1X on the Canada

It does state this is an update, and you require a previous version to install it tho.

Yeah, I just linked to the first one Google found to post the functionality. I'm sure there are lots more links.
