Welcome to the forums!

Stabilizer mode 1 is "normal" mode, which provides both vertical and horizontal stabilization. Mode 2 is "panning" mode which you would use if you were tracking a moving subject.

The I and the O are the on and off switch for the stabilizer. You will want to switch it off if you are using the lens on a tripod for example. I = ON, O = OFF.

The other switch is the focus range switch. When set to 1.8m the lens will focus throughout it's entire range. When set to 6.5m the lens will only focus on subjects more than 6.5m away, but will hunt less and (in theory at least) be able to focus a bit quicker.

Hope this helps. Enjoy the new lens, share some of your shots sometime.

Welcome to the forum.

1-0 Simply means on - off. 1 is on 0 is off.

The difference between 1 & 2 is ...1 can be used for general shooting and 2 for panning.

The 1.8 and 6.5 is the distance scale for speed of focus.
If the subject is further than 6.5 mtrs then use that setting.
