I have planned to order the L bracket without grip but then after knowing there is a revised one. Therefore, I just hold on to that.

Nothing yet from Adorama. Im still waiting for my 5diii body to ship as well. The wait is killing me.

I can't imagine having to waiting this long after the release to recieve my 5D3.
Did you all see what the "fix" to the "light leak issue" was?

I just received my 5d3 right now from FedEx. Battery is charging and I'm very excited. For some reason it feels so weird without the grip.

Enjoy your new 5D3!

I think it would be nicer with the grip, but since the body is a lot bigger than my old 60D's, I can live without the grip for a few more weeks. It's been killing me at volleyball games though.

I placed my pre-order on 3-6 with B&H and all I've gotten are the standard back order notifications about every 2 weeks. I hope Canon ships soon becuase I also have a RRS L bracket for the grip on pre-order and they can't start making it until they get their grip. Last rumor I heard was mid to late May.

I don't think anyone knows. I did an online chat with B&H yesterday and they haven't been given any estimates as of to when they should get them. Wonder if they discovered an issue when they started producing them?

I just called Canon directly and was told that it would be released within one week and the B&H and Amazon are getting them first.

As of late, Canon customer service hasn't been the best at pointing out dates, but if it comes in a week, AWESOME!

I think all retailers will be getting some stock of the grip, how much though, I know not.
