Default Learning to click star trails, plz help

Hi, this is my first time trying to shoot star trails.. below is one picture i shot.. it looks terrible. can you please comment, what ALL things are wrong in my settings?
this is a 5 min exposure, f/5.6, ISO 100, MF..

What is wrong with the white balance? why is it so off? how do I customize it?
Appreciate it.. Oh By the way, plz excuse the number of start being so low, it is not the best weather here, i am trying it from my back yard

With a single exposure of 5 minutes, you are introducing alot of light pollution.
I would invest in a fairly cheap intervolometer(Vello is about $50) and stack your photo's of about 30 second exposures.
This is a simple program that will stack the photos for you.
