I do have a local guy who is very attentive to my concerns and tries his best to assist me. We talk about particular images and what I'm hoping to achieve. He does have clients that supply their own paper, they want him to use, and maybe that's what I should be doing too. He has a large inkjet printer, the specifics I don't have on the top of my head right now.

I tried initially a bigger more "pro" shop near me, but the level of attention was poor.
I was impressed with laumont...they specifically refer to traditional B&W prints, Fuji Crystal Archive, and (was I absolutely surprised) Cibachrome! And the Lightjet printer and the Lambda printer.

Ken Allen Studios only mentions inkjet inks and some of the ancillary services like mounting options, but I didn't see mention of any conventional light sensitive processes.

Yeah, I was too, with Laumont. And they are talking the same jive. I might go a knocking next week and give'm this image to run with.

A FB contact just sent me this link which is cool: http://www.yossimilo.com/exhibitions...atthew-brandt/

He might employ some conventional light-sensitive processes in his works, but the descriptions strikes me as "artist willing to experiment with both light-sensitive materials and chemistries and electronic reproduction to achieve his artistic vision".

And thanks to you, I know of a commercial place that can do Cibachromes, now that my own darkroom equipment is in storage and I don't spend spare time in the darkroom any longer, and the chemistry is hard to obtain.
