Default Easiest and cheapest DIY shutter release

Aye! For those, who are only starting out and/or just do not have funds to get all they need, I just ploaded a video of easiest shutter release ever. No - it's not about that with handsfree headphone, etc. - it's even more simple.

Sorry for quality - took a vid on my old-ish HTC.

Easiest DIY shutter release BY FAR!

Default Re: Easiest and cheapest DIY shutter release

I like it! Far more than I had laying about the house though back when I did my first one for the old XTi... I did have a cheap hands-free phone earbud/mic from about 10 years ago (yes, I'm a packrat that way), a lightswitch I pulled out when I got around to remodeling last year, and a give em hell attitude!

FYI - ArchaicShack wanted 4 bucks for their base rocker switches and after a few minutes of the salesman hovering I decided this was acceptable. Then of course I found the CHDK hack and this went into the bag for future museum use after I get famous. lolol
