Inexpensive lens hoods for the G1X

There are a number of cheap lens hoods that fit the G1X. That is, there are lens hoods made to fit a 58mm filter thread so if you already have a G1X filter adapter you can add a cheap lens hood to the filter adapter. I'll be using the Canon lens hood. I "tested" only the "DC-SN" hood that I bought through Amazon for about $4. Do your searches for a 58mm lens hood - there are many.
