I'm trying to figure out how to get my PS CS to accept RAW's from my 20D, but it wont. My buddy says it's impossible, and only CS2 can process RAW's, is he right? I tried finding a plug in, but it didn't work.
Help!!! |

Go to the Adobe web site and under support download the latest ACR for PSCS. That will allow you to process 20D raw files.

Slap you buddy, don't believe anything he says, then do what Leo said.

I've never gotten that Adobe file to work, even with several tries.
Fortunately, there are plenty of good RAW converters around. ---Bob Gross--- |

Thanks so much! It worked like a charm. Had a hard time at first because it wasn't working, but then I realized that I had to go into the plug-in file, remove the old and put in the new. Now it's working great!!!
Bob, maybe your having the problem I had? There are instructions on the site; "To install: Exit Photoshop CS. Open My Computer. Double-click Local Disk (C Navigate to Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop CS\Plug-Ins\File Formats. If you have the Adobe Creative Suite, navigate to: Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS\Plug-Ins\File Formats. Move the existing plug-in to another location (for example, a new folder on your desktop). Ensure you keep this version in case you need to revert back. Copy the Camera Raw plug-in, Camera Raw.8bi, from the download into the same folder as Step 4. Launch Photoshop CS." |

Glad you got everything working. I also agree with Tim....Slap your buddy...Slap him hard and tell him that his oppions are no longer valid. Then have a beer and make him watch. If he says anything...slap him again.
I really don't like your buddy.... Happy anti-social day! L8r,
