Default Roommates Grad photo

This was all his idea, I supplied the lighting and the technical know how. This was my first portrait shoot ever. Had no idea what I was doing, and the cat was so hard to work with.

1 off cam flash
30mm f8

Composite image which is how he wanted it to be.

yeah, i tried to keep the background from showing, it was an old black sheet, so for the idea of the end composite it worked out alright. Either way it was getting quite the awesome reviews among his peers. They loved it, so technically speaking i personally think its not the best but from the standpoint of a novelty grad photo it was awesome.
We were trying to make it real weird with the cat and the glasses. He has nor wears either.

Way to under exposed.. You could have got the look you were going for and have it exposed properly

well technically you failed... way under exposed and you could have used a backlight to mask the sheet...

thanks for the comments guys, and i only had one light so it was a learning experience. I think the processing brought down the exposure as well.
