My setup.... two calibrated 27 inch Apple monitors running at 2560 by 1440 each... they are just fine.

It is a matter of taste.... not performance of the equipment. Lets not confuse photoshopping skills versus hardware performance. Not everyone moves the sharpening slider to the right. Works for some... not for everyone.

Thanks for the sermon. I was speaking of sharp in regards to focus, not 'over-sharpened'. I like how you used the opportunity to give me your state of the union on photography

To the OP, it must be the rain, but they just don't look sharp to me and no amount of bluster from others is going to fix that.
