Not sure what I should do. I was traveling on merchant vessels and somehow my lens got scratched. Is it replaceable? Should I buy a lens kit? Should I just replace the camera entirely? I know very little about digital cameras. Any advice is appreciated.

It depends where the scratch is and how it impacts on your images, you may find that for many shots you will not be able to detect it, however, shots into bright light(such as sunsets) may cause problems. Not sure how much it is to replace/fix, but the price of the camera is now at a price point that it may not be economical to repair, so nice opportunity to get a new one!!!
