Any tips on getting your aim right toward the southern point to get the circle?
Been trying to just guess it or use a couple of test shots and adjust based on that but still having difficulty. Any way to do it more easily? |

Yes, it helps if you use a wide lens and a compass. Recognising how to find the South Celestial Pole will help as well. Taking the longer of the 2 stars that form the Southern Cross, draw an imaginary line through that. Then take the middle of the 2 pointer stars and draw a perpendicular line. Where these 2 lines meet is roughly where the South Celestial Pole is.
