Boeing 777 Emergency Landing in Toronto

An Air Canada Boeing 777 bound from Toronto to Japan had to make an emergency landing soon after takeoff when on of its engines failed. Thankfully the aircraft was able to return to the airport safely after dumping most of its fuel over Lake Ontario.

It looks like some debris from the engine failure may have fallen onto some parked cars and smashed some windows. The debris area looks pretty close to the prime location area for catching landing/takeoff photos.

Nice that they got down OK.

I wonder if they added an entertainment surcharge after they landed? ;)
