Nice shots! My only comment is that your editing is a bit all over the place. Mainly the black and whites, of which you have three different black and white edits. I personally prefer the last one, the first three black and whites need a little more contrast to them. Otherwise I like them!

Thanks for the comments. The editing is a little bit scattered but customers love the creativity and that's what they look for. People hire me because I don't do the same thing every other photographer does.

Find your style and stick with it, and dont follow what everyone else does

Nicely done, not loving the bridal party shot, but other than that, it's a really really nice set of images.

*shaking my head* Find your style and stick with it? Doesn't that kind of counteract the 'bit scattered but customers love the 'creativity''? What about being creative with your actual photos and not having to have 'scattered' editing? There's something to be said for consistency. And I don't think a flat black and white really counts as creativity, sorry.

@OP how many weddings did it take for you to 'find your style' ? I was under the impression that you were new to wedding photography.

1. Grooms hands are distracting; they often are ! I understand it's a kind of spontaneous moment, but I'd catch that and make sure I got a second shot with slight posing (shifting his hand).
2. I see what you're trying to do obviously, but this just doesn't work in my opinion. Not enough texture elements, balance in the foreground.
3. Decent. I might have gone for a more symmetrical shot, OR I would have gone off centre and swiveled left or right to put their heads in the crux of the leading lines. I also might have played with dominating the ambient, adding a flash / umbrella.
4. 'posing' is fun enough, but you've put them in badly mottled lighting. Putting it in black and white doesn't 'save' it, imbue it with artistic properties. I would have had them all turn around, and I'd have shot from the reverse direction. If there was a bad background I'd have just found another spot.
5. Good expressions; I want the ambient knocked down a stop, and I want to be a little closer.
6. Good. I might take the crop in just a smidgen, perhaps from the bottom right.
7. You probably have a series of these, so my critique is probably addressed by another shot. But the backlight is just too hot; when doing shots with the backlight intentionally not occluded (visible !), I'd just take the power down.

Yeah, hitting a different black and white preset does not creativity make.
