Default First night shot with my new lens

This was with my new 17-40mm L and it was better than I could have wished for.

I absolutely love this shot. Nice and sharp... no distracting cars or anything... and it has a European feel to it. Great photo.

I see plenty of evidence of cars

Awesome shot. I like it lots.
It looks as if the UK roads dept/Gov are taking light polution seriously. It looks like there is little light escaping into the sky.

Most places suffer serious light pollution... I guess they may be trying to change?

This shot is amazing. I honestly think that I could not get a shot like this in San Diego no matter how hard I tried. Like adam* said, too much light pollution. Here's what a typical shot for me looks like Light everywhere!http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a3...e_filtered.jpg

By the way do you have a hi re version. Would be a great desktop wallpaper!!
