What sport?
Indoor or outdoor? How far will you be from the action? Will you be panning? |

there were a few times when i wondered to myself I I could handle cameras such as the 7d & 5d ,even though I have shot in manual for a while in many different situations , in gyms , on track, , night fields etc. then I see many folks with these cameras that don't' know as many things ... So I guess I should fear not

So what are you asking exactly? That is, what feature of the 7D do you want advice on? Is it the AF? http://www.learn.usa.canon.com/resou..._article.shtml

The 7D doesn't include the "Dummy" modes such as sports, portrait. macro, etc...

Why shoot TV during the day? You want to open up your aperture to blur out the background, TV gives you no control over that.

I never use Tv. If I'm outdoors I shoot Av to control aperture, and just check shutter speeds to make sure they are good. Indoors I shoot full manual since I'm in dimly-lit gyms.
