This is the view that confronted me as I looked out of our back bedroom window this evening

Thanks for the feedback guys, glad you liked it

BTW - What amazed me about the shot, is how wide the sigma 15-30 actually is. As you know this was taken through the bedroom window, I was stood at a slight angle to the window with the the lens hood almost touching the glass and the 15mm setting managed to catch part of the window frame. AMAZING

I wonder how much of this sunset was due to the very large fire at an oil storage facility, near London

Wonderful shot! I've been looking for a nice sunrise shot here for the past week or so, but it has been either super clear or overcast. Today, it's just foggy. I haven't given up though, as we do get some very interesting sunrises and sunsets here in Southwestern Idaho.

Sadly not, this was taken from a first floor window and the view from floor level was obscured by houses
