Will the 24ex flash fit (physically) on the end of the Sigma 105mm macro lens?
150mm? 180 mm? Does the flash snap on the end of the lens like the 14ex ring flash does or does it thread on to the end of the lens?

My understanding is the twin flash has the same snap fitting as the ring flash but has a 58mm filter thread on the front. There are adaptors for lenses not designed to take the flashes. eg http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/cont...=112547&is=REG , I think there are three size, this is the largest.
Here is a link to what I have been able to find out or guess about macro flashes with links to some discussions on the flashes: http://www.zen20934.zen.co.uk/photog...#Macro%20Flash |
