Default My wife's eyes

I was experimenting with my offshoe cord/Sigma super/lumiquest softbox to one side and really close at 1/128 power, and snapped this closeup of my wife. I was noticing how sharp her eyes looked in my screen and how the flash/box combo was lighting her face and thought wow, this would be great in B/W. I love how dramatic the lighting is and how her left eye seems to POP from the shadow and that's how it looks in my camera, not shopped. I just did the B/W conversion, and a little USM 120/1.2/0 and I healed a few little spots where she went... ewwww omg. lol Women?!? Comments/Critique always welcome.

Wow John. A very dramatic shot.
I really like what you've done here.

You'll probably hear comments about the close crop and the hand on the face but no matter, it's still a quality image.

I gather that you're quite happy with it and to me, that's all that matters.

Cheers

The eyes really do pop.
I think you got exactly what you were looking for with this shot.
Well done.

haha... I'd prefer it if her hand were down or at least in a more complimentary position, but in all honesty, I'm just happy anytime she'll actually let me take her picture without her middle finger up at me. lol. Thanks for the comments.
